Rejection of naming a street for Kann in Tel Aviv

On 24 March 1954, Tel Aviv’s city council approved almost 300 new street names, these names included, among others, names of Jewish personalities from abroad who contributed to the Zionist reconstruction. In the TLV archives there are no protocols for that day, so no answer yet as to why JHK was excluded.

In the protocols of new naming proposals on December 4 1970 Jacobus Kann was included.
The proposal to commemorate JHK was rejected without any motivation.
